The Shipments Table provides a comprehensive view of all shipments in your Explorate application, allowing you to access key data at a glance.
The Shipments Table is the default view for managing your shipments. You can:
Set it as your homepage via Profile Settings
Switch to the Shipment Cards View
if preferred
This guide breaks down the key elements of the Shipments Table and the actions available to help you manage your shipments efficiently.
Table Columns
The table consists of 15 columns, each representing essential shipment details:
Shipment Details
Reference – The EXPL or BYO internal reference Explorate uses to uniquely identify your shipment.
Internal Reference – A custom code for numbering shipments according to your system.
Nickname – An additional identifier for categorisation (e.g., Fall/Winter '25).
Shipment Status & Progress
Status – Indicates the current stage of the shipment:
Draft
Processing
Confirmed
Completed
Cancelled
Journey – A visual progress bar tracking the shipment’s movement from origin to destination.
Dates & Locations
Departure & Arrival Date - Estimated dates are shown by default and replaced with actuals once available.
Origin & Destination - Shows where the shipment starts (incl. feeder port) and ends (incl. final inland location).
Transport Information
Vessel Name – First vessel or feeder details
Voyage – Voyage or flight number of the first leg, incl. feeder if applicable.
Actions & Features
Request Booking
Click to submit a booking request. This does not confirm a payment—our team will review your request, provide a rate, and guide you through the next steps.
Track Shipment
Click to track external shipments that are not booked with Explorate.
Search
Easily find shipments by searching for the following in:
Company trading name
Internal reference number
Port (code, name, country, city)
Supplier (company name, contact name)
Quote (number, contact name, email)
Shipment (EXPL, MBL, HBL, container numbers)
User (email, first and/or last name)
Filter
Refine your shipments using the filter options:
Trader
Status
Mode
External Shipments – Toggle on/off to include or exclude external shipments.
Group By
Organize shipments using into collapsible rows based on 10 different categories, such as:
Origin country
Destination country
Purchase order
Export to CSV
Apply search and filter criteria and click on export to .csv to generate a .csv file, making it easy to share shipment details with your team.
