Overview

The Purchase Order (PO) feature provides detailed information about all your current and upcoming confirmed purchase orders. It enhances supply chain management by enabling interaction with Explorate through the platform, even before confirming a booking.

This feature offers valuable insights to the Explorate team, as we can better understand your supply chain needs and efficiently plan space allocations and rates.

Create

To create a new PO, click on Purchase Orders in the navigation bar, then simply follow the prompts.

You have the option to create POs individually by filling out the form or to do a bulk upload by downloading the provided template and uploading all your purchase orders at once.

Request Quote

Once a PO has been created, you can request a quote for selected POs when needed. All SKU details listed in the PO will seamlessly transfer into the quote you create, making the process quick and easy. Select the checkboxes next to your desired POs, then click “Request Quote”

Introducing the New Layout

The new purchase order layout has been designed for high performance and scalability. Handle thousands of purchase orders effortlessly with powerful new capabilities, including:

  • Advanced filtering and searching.

  • Grouping and organizing columns.

  • Saving custom table configurations.

  • Allocating purchase order lines quickly and efficiently.

Group By

Easily organize rows by dragging and dropping columns into the grouping section. Tailor the table view to suit your needs.

Filters

Finding it hard to locate specific rows in a large dataset? No worries! Use filters to refine your view and focus on the data that matters.

  • Example: Apply filters to display only purchase orders with an open status and an adjusted cargo ready date after December 1, 2024.

Columns

Hide unnecessary columns effortlessly. Simply click on columns in the side panel and choose which columns to hide.

Want to save your preferences? Configure a custom table layout and save it as a new table state. Next time, simply apply your saved state to pick up where you left off!

Custom Fields

Easily configure custom fields tailored to the goods being shipped. These fields can be added at either the header level or the line item level, providing flexibility to suit your specific needs.
